Happiness – a positive feeling which gives us pleasure , Happiness isn’t a constant feeling neither it’s an objective one and holds different intensity among different people . For beggars , it could be managing to have a day meal , while for a rich single guy , it could mean having a small family. Thus , we shouldn’t compare our happiness with that of others. Struggle will always be there , it’s your choice whether you want to be happy or just crib about your insecurities.
1. Avoid attachment
Know the difference between love and attachment. Love means to care and to get inspired whereas attachment is only about current needs and fulfillment of desires. Love doesn’t have any expectations while attachments end up having expectations which most of the time upsets us.
2. Set your goals
It’s perfectly ok not to have any goals in life , but atleast one should know basic idea of what you ultimately have to do in life. Sometimes , being involved in so many things gives stress . So, prioritize your needs and goals to avoid confusion and stress.
3. Love thyself
Nobody would ever love you but you have to love yourself because ultimately you have to live with yourself . So love , respect and know your potentials as only you can understand yourself better than anyone else.
4. Let go off things
If misunderstandings happen , initiate if possible peacefully , but if the other party can’t maintain peace , then say Alright and let go off those things and maintain your cool. Respect your decisions.
5. Achieve targets
Set your targets on daily , weekly or monthly basis as suitable. And fully contribute yourself to achieve them before time to avoid unnecessary hassles to stay happy.
6. Start analyzing
Be emotionally strong .Be neutral at every situation but still analyze what’s wrong and what’s not. Start observing and analysing . Decisions have to be taken on time .
7. Express yourself
Sometimes , we fail to express our feelings and from inside get tensed for no reason which is nowadays the most common mistake not to share your thoughts. Talk to someone who you have trust on . Or do singing , dancing , playing or what you love .
8. Eat healthy food
In USA , a large section of people find it difficult to be happy because their food habit is BAD. Drink lots of water to keep you cool and nutritious food because psychology says that good food will give you good thoughts.
AND always do remember no one else can control your happiness and you have the ultimate freedom to choose whether you want to be happy or not.
